As the Graphic/Web Designer at Summit Design and Engineering Services, I initially redesigned the website using HTML5/CSS and Bootstrap, being the only team member capable of coding. This meant all updates depended on my availability, which became impractical as the firm grew. In 2020, during the pandemic, we transitioned to WordPress, collaborating with a team of over 15 employees. A communications group was formed to evaluate competitor sites, brainstorm designs, and refine concepts through weekly meetings over six weeks, resulting in wireframes and low-fidelity mock-ups focused on UX/UI improvements. After developing the site on a staging platform and gathering feedback from early adopters, the final site launched in July 2020.
